Lathem time clock motor and copper clutch assembly

Replace them together, then you will have no doubt.
Reason:  The copper spring is pressed on to the center shaft - it can slip under pressure.
It takes 15 minutes, follow the photos.
Genuine Synchron (equal to, or better than, the original) motor
Fits all MECHANICAL Lathem punch clocks. 
Fits Model Series:  1221, 2000, 2100, 2200, 3000, 4000, 4100, 4200 clocks. 
For example: 
             2101, 2102, 2103, 2104, 2105, 2106,
             2121, 2122, 2123, 2124, 2125, and 2126 all use the same motor..
