Amano MJR7000 & MJR8000 Signal Controller Board
Internal bell/signal controller for Amano MJR time clocks — program scheduled ringing directly from the clock.
Description
The Amano MJR7000 and MJR8000 signal controller is an internal board that allows your time clock to activate bells or buzzers on a programmed schedule. The board installs inside the machine and can be added at the time of purchase or field-installed later.
If ordered with a new MJR time clock, installation and programming are included at no charge. We will install the board and pre-program your requested days and times before shipment. If you prefer to install it yourself, instructions are available in the owner’s manual, and we can assist by phone.
The controller supports up to 28 programmable ringing events. Each event can be shared across multiple days, up to seven days per week. For example, a 7:00 AM start time ringing Monday through Friday counts as one programmed event. This leaves 27 additional events available for other shift changes, breaks, or schedule adjustments.
Typical eight-hour shifts may use approximately eight ringing events. Enhanced schedules may use more. You can also create unique schedules for specific days, such as a shorter Saturday shift, and leave Sunday inactive if the facility is closed.
The board provides 110VAC output for connection to your existing bell or buzzer system, or you may use compatible signaling devices supplied by us. An optional power supply is available for low-voltage buzzers and bells.

Amano MJR signal controller - how it works

This board is installed inside the machine. You can do it after-the-fact, or we can do it for you before shipping. We do not charge to install and program this if you order it with a new machine.
The instructions are in the owners manual, which you can download from this web page.
You can set up to 28 ringing events, and share each one across 7 days.
Example: 7AM is one event, 7AM ringing Monday through Friday is just one event.
Leaving 27 for other times.
Note: A typical 8 hour shift has 8 ringing events. An enhanced shift has 11. Ask us how this works, and how it benefits you.
You can even have a different schedule for any day, such as Saturday:
8AM Start, 12:00 End and 1:00 End Which would be a 4 or 5 hour half-day.
Leave the bells off on Sunday. Don't have it ring 7 days a week if you are not there, it's a waste, and it adds subtle noise into the background of everyones weekend.
